An original ode to Thanksgiving, which turns even the most gentle-hearted beings into serial eaters…

The turkey and dressing are now all gone

Nothing left but the pumpkin pie

It took all week to shop and cook

And we scoffed it all down in the blink of an eye.

Last week I’m sure

I was thin Stop me before I eat again.

I had gravy with my breakfast

Stuffing with my lunch

Turkey omlettes, turkey soup,

And lots of other leftovers to munch

Even though it’s a holiday

Eating this much must be a sin

Stop me before I eat again.
